DEFRA faces cuts of £162million - over five per cent of its budget - and it's the Regional Development Agencies which are worst hit. Anna Hill asks if this means their rural projects will be hit as a result. Since 1998 the number of foreign workers in fisheries and agriculture has more than doubled to around 25 thousand. Farmers explain why they rely on foreign workers and can't find labour in the UK. Meanwhile free-range pigs are frazzling in the hot weather. Produced by Anne-Marie Bullock.
