60 years ago as World War II spread across Europe the children of Guernsey packed their bags to escape the coming German invasion; destination Glasgow. Sally McNair retraces the the journey and lives of Britain's first evacuees who escaped to Glasgow uncovering a remarkable and forgotten history.
