Elaine Paige presents two hours of your favourite show tunes. Another cracking Disney Double, a Gleeful Moment and plenty of your Break A Leg messages. In Hour 2, Elaine is joined by "popular people's" tenor Alfie Boe. After studying at the Royal College of Music, he was catapulted to Broadway with the critically-acclaimed Baz Luhrmann production of Puccini's "La Boheme". Michael Parkinson brought him to our attention when he was starring in the English National Opera's version of "Kismet". Things got better and better for Alfie and after two weeks as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables he led the cast in Cameron Mackintosh's 25th Anniversary celebratation of Les Mis at London's O2 Arena. He will return to the role of Jean Valjean later this year and has just released "Bring Him Home", a wonderful celebration of some classic show tunes.
