Elaine's guest is composer and musicologist Howard Goodall, whose first stage musical The Hired Man won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Musical in 1984, and a new production is now currently touring the UK. Howard's Essential Musicals include Chess (1986), The Madness musical 'Our House' (2002) and Into the Woods (1987).
