Documentary series exploring an archive of fin-de-siecle colour photographs. The fourth programme in the series shares the films and photographs taken in Europe before the First World War. In France, daily life appears to be peaceful. But as the photographers move east, they witness the tensions that will eventually plunge the continent into bloody war.
