The Mitchells are gathered at the Vic for Christmas. Archie wants to know how Suzy will reveal the paternity test results to Sean. She demands payment now and threatens him. Archie realises that she’s going to be a loose cannon. Suzy informs a dumbfounded Roxy that she knows her secret and asks for money to keep quiet. Roxy reveals all to a guilty Archie, who advises her to call Suzy’s bluff by threatening to reveal the truth of Suzy’s fake pregnancy to Phil. The plan backfires when Suzy tells Phil herself. Sensing how volatile Suzy is, Archie relents and gives her the money from the Vic safe, but she fails to reveal where she’s put the test results and leaves. As they all pull crackers, Sean’s face darkens as he stares at the contents of his: the test results. Dot’s downhearted to get a call from the nursing home to say Jim isn’t coming home. Dot prepares to spend Christmas alone. As she sits down to dinner, the doorbell goes: it’s Jim! In an attempt to be nice, Ian arrives at Pat’s house with a box of Christmas food. Janine’s unconvinced by his goodwill gesture. Jane is incredulous upon hearing that Ian’s given away their Christmas dinner to Bianca. Meanwhile the Masoods arrive at the Beales’ with curry in an effort to bring the families together. Elsewhere, Garry, Minty, Dawn, Darren, Shirley and Heather find themselves without any Christmas dinner between them and so descend upon the Beales' to share in the curry. Things between Ronnie and Jack look to be rekindled as they share a kiss. She’s thrilled and brings him over to the Vic for Christmas dinner. Bianca tries to encourage a downcast Whitney to join in with the family for Christmas festivities.
