Lucas opens a soup kitchen van by the chippy, much to Ian’s dismay. Unaware of Lucas’s new venture, Denise arrives as a crowd gathers around the van. Peggy and Ian urge Lucas to rethink his location, believing the van will attract vagrants. Denise shows a supportive front. When she goes, Lucas’s wife, Trina, turns up. She wants them to try to be a family again but Lucas is dismissive. Left alone together in the van, Trina takes a more seductive tack. Patrick walks in on them and Lucas looks guilty. Patrick regards him sternly. Patrick later warns Trina off Lucas, but is left gobsmacked when she reveals that Lucas was with her when he disappeared at Christmas. Returning home, Patrick tells a shamefaced Lucas that Trina has told him everything. Bianca berates Whitney for shoplifting. She tells Ricky she wants to concentrate on revealing that he's Tiffany father. Ricky and Bianca return Whitney's stolen goods. As they do, Bianca’s horrified to see Whitney stealing again. Ricky counsels Whitney and suggests seeking professional help. Ricky tells Bianca it’s not a good time to reveal that he is Tiffany’s father as Whitney needs her sister now. Zainab’s business card is declined. She finds that the account has been cleaned out. Zainab accuses Ian of taking the money but he proves it wasn’t him. After receiving bank confirmation that the money was taken out with her card, Zainab’s accusatory finger points to Masood. Outside, Tamwar makes a phone call: "I’ve got the money." Danielle returns to the Square and puts on a brave face. Her facade later cracks and she reveals to Stacey that she had an awful time at home, with her father having found out about the abortion. She says she’s alone now, but Stacey says they have each other.
