Phil returns home, drunk. Shirley sobers him up and tells him to be a dad to both his children. Phil asks Ben why he did what he did; Ben admits Jordan’s been bullying him. Phil advises Ben to slap Jordan down next time. Phil pays Lucas a visit, the two men almost come to blows but Denise stops them. The adults leave Jordan and Ben in the Arches, hoping they’ll work together on a engine. When Ben hurts himself, Jordan starts to mock him. Ben snaps, pushes Jordan, grabs a spanner and tells him he needs slapping down. Jordan, Chelsea, and an uncomfortable Lucas, mark Trina’s birthday by reading out a card and lighting a candle by her tree. Lucas’ is shocked that Denise discussed their lacklustre sex life with Chelsea and takes Denise out to lunch. Danny gives Glenda a one way ticket to America, explaining Ronnie’s on to them and he’ll meet her at the airport. Ronnie confronts Danny, he panics until she asks if he’s seeing a married woman. Danny’s relieved but tells Glenda Ronnie’s threatening him with the police. Suspicious, Glenda rips up her ticket. Stacey’s touched when Max buys her a new pram. At her leaving drinks in the Vic, Stacey’s uneasy when Jean insists on lots of photos, including one with Ryan. Max rescues Stacey and they leave the party. Stacey admits she’s lonely and doesn’t know how she’ll cope without Bradley, Max reassures her. Ryan makes a bet with Janine, if she kisses Lucas he’ll do the washing up. Janine tries and fails then changes the rules, she’ll do the washing up if Ryan kisses Stacey. Syed introduces his family to Allen, a therapist who claims he can cure Syed’s ‘Same Sex Addiction’. Masood and Tamwar are sceptical, but Zainab desperately wants to believe it will work.
