Ben insists he did nothing to Louise. Phil takes his frustration out on a car in the Arches after learning that he and Shirley will have to prove to they’re fit to look after Louise. Phil starts to wonders if Ben’s copying Stella, but Shirley’s still convinced he’s innocent. Phil’s furious when he realises Heather’s left Ben and Louise alone. He rushes home, finds Ben about to burn Louise again and hits him. Danny’s unsettled after Ronnie walks in when he’s on the phone to Glenda – did she overhear their conversation? Danny persuades Roxy to give him a £100,000 claiming his friend can guarantee a 75% return. Later, worried that Ronnie’s on to him, he tells Roxy the deal’s fallen through. Roxy throws an extravagant, rodeo style, birthday party for Chelsea at the Community Centre. Glenda tells Danny they can’t leave empty handed. Janine and Ryan try to have a romantic night in but are soon bored. They soon discover that trading ways of killing each other is a much bigger turn on. Chelsea has a disappointing birthday. Denise and Lucas have put a humiliating childhood picture of her in the paper, at her party Danny won’t give her a birthday kiss and Roxy kisses the DJ Chelsea fancies. Even worse, she has to hear all about her parent’s sex life when Denise drunkenly admits she’s sure Lucas has lost interest in her. Jean collects money for Stacey’s leaving present and is impressed by Ryan’s sizeable contribution. Stacey turns down Becca’s offer to be her birthing partner. Masood and Zainab are suspicious of Syed’s evasive behaviour and become even more so when they realise Syed’s deleted his internet browsing history. Syed meets Allen, a man he’s found on the internet. Masood sees them together but doesn’t tell Zainab.
