A troubled Masood nurses his bandaged hand. Fearing Masood knows; Syed relays his concerns to Christian. Christian agrees to talk to Masood and convince him that it was someone else he saw him with. Christian apologises to Masood for having caught him in a compromising position and covers that it was a pizza boy. Masood regards him sternly. Masood goes to Mosque, where he breaks down. Confiding in the Imam about Syed, a devastated Masood reveals his dilemma. The Imam urges Masood to guide Syed to contain his gay feelings or risk being shunned by the community. Determined, Masood returns home in search of Syed. He’s intercepted by an elated Amira who announces she’s pregnant. Visited by Max, Jack enquires about Ronnie. When Max reveals that he saw Ronnie and the doctor kissing, a furious Jack punches Dr. Steele. An oblivious Ronnie arrives and is shunned by Jack. Sure that Ronnie is there out of pity, (despite her protestations), Jack rejects her. As a tearful Ronnie leaves, Jack breaks down. Confronting Jack, Max realises he rebuffed Ronnie for her sake. Phil and Shirley lock horns over the best way to deal with Ben’s bullying. Shirley advises Phil against taking the heavy approach with Tasha, reminding him that he can’t risk social services’ involvement. Phil meets Tasha’s dad. He takes the aggressive approach which only serves to antagonise Tasha’s father. Shirley takes over with a softer approach and some gentle intimidation. He agrees to speak to Tasha. Fatboy outlines his plans to pimp up the ice-cream van, but he needs money. They hit a hurdle when the ice-cream they’d planned to sell goes off. Amira frantically tries to coordinate her plans for moving out. When she reveals that she’s been feeling emotional and dizzy, Chelsea thinks she knows why.
