Peggy decides that Ronnie’s in need of a family dinner. Ronnie refuses to talk to Glenda. Peggy tells Billy that he and Jay can move into the Vic. Glenda asks for Peggy’s help. Arriving for dinner, Ronnie and Roxy are unhappy to see Glenda there and insist that Peggy’s been more of a mother to them than Glenda ever will be. Peggy tells Glenda to go. Peggy apologises to Ronnie for not believing her about Archie. At dinner, Peggy makes a toast to Sal, then to ‘family’. Indignant, Sal tells her sister she’s the only real family Peggy has. Peggy tells her to get out. Peggy goes to No. 27, it’s a mess and Phil’s lying in the middle of it all, off his head on crack. Carol meets Lewis in the Vic. With most of Carol’s family in the pub, the pair decide to go straight to the Argee Bhajee. Carol’s nervous. Lewis’ phone rings, he claims it’s a work emergency but Carol’s not convinced. Lewis insists he wants to see Carol again and kisses her. Carol tells Bianca the date was terrible. Zsa Zsa and Billy discover they can’t get back into the flat. Shirley apologises to Heather. Heather grudgingly reveals she’s staying at Minty’s and he could probably take her and Zsa Zsa in too. Feeling let down by Shirley, Zsa Zsa refuses to come and asks if she can stay with Mercy. Shirley tells Minty, Heather and Ricky that Phil’s on crack. Abi looks after Darren as he recuperates. Max worries that Darren’s hiding something. Harry deposits Vanessa and her luggage on Max’s doorstep. Harry realises it’s Max, not Darren, that Vanessa’s seeing and tells Max he’s welcome to her. Jodie’s seen the whole thing and realising Darren lied about going to Bognor, is furious with him and her mum.
