Glenda tells Ronnie and Roxy that Danny’s father is a double glazing rep – Danny’s middle name isn’t Archie, it’s Nicholas. Roxy throws Danny out. Glenda admits she hasn’t been evicted from her flat, but Danny refuses to go back there. Glenda apologises to Ronnie and Roxy and the girls ask her to stay. Pat and Peggy are back from holiday and look through their photos, it was a great trip. Unimpressed that Glenda’s staying, Peggy’s keen when Pat suggests another holiday. Glenda insists she’ll ‘carry Peggy’s torch’ while she’s away. Charlie gives Peggy back her licensee sign. Peggy discovers Ben could go to prison and realises she’s needed at home. Peggy decides she’s not going to rest until she gets the Vic back. Janine tells Ryan they’re going out for dinner – using Charlie’s winnings. Ryan refuses, and returns the money to Charlie. He apologises to Stacey for kissing her. Janine thinks Ryan’s trying to soften Stacey up. Ryan doesn’t tell Janine he kissed Stacey and forfeits the bet, he hands over his money and starts cleaning the flat. Shirley helps Denise carry in a new exercise bike but wonders why she needs it. Patrick claims it’s for him. Denise insists to Patrick that she just wants to get fit, then breaks down and admits she just wants Lucas to love her but feels like she’s living with a stranger. At Liz’s request, Dot invites Patrick to be her partner at the over 60s dance. Dot’s unnerved by Patrick’s flirting and Jim’s accompanies them. Libby’s been landed with the job of DJ and is relieved when Denise takes over. Patrick realises Dot’s set him up and when Liz asks him to dance, he refuses. She starts dancing to an Elvis track alone and eventually Patrick joins her.
