Ricky confronts Sam about the affair but she explains the kiss with Jack as innocent. Sam challenges Archie about spreading the rumour, but he feigns innocence. Later, Archie suggests Bianca talk to Jack in the hope of firing her up. Jack confesses to the fling. Seeing Ricky thanking Jack for what he did for Sam, Bianca seethes. She drags Sam downstairs and forces her to confess. Furious, Roxy throws Sam out. Bianca tries to console a devastated Ricky, but he bitterly lashes out at her. Distraught, Sam’s left alone outside the Vic, when a hand reaches out to her: ‘It’s gonna be alright. Uncle Archie’s here’. Lucas pleads with Denise to reconsider calling off the wedding, but she remains steadfast. Denise visits Owen in prison. He relays his concerns abut Lucas killing Trina, and Denise is left troubled. Both Liz and Chelsea urge Libby to think of Denise’s happiness and realise that Lucas was acting in the interests of his family. Denise returns home and informs them that the wedding is going ahead regardless of Owen or Libby. Libby concedes that she’s happy for her mum. Phil continues to threaten Max to return his money. Overhearing that Shirley’s had a win on the horses and given the winnings to Heather, Max gets an idea. He advises her against putting the money in the bank for George’s future and suggests Heather take out an insurance policy with him. Heather hesitantly signs over her money to a guilty Max. Max manages to stave Phil off with a down-payment. Roxy offers to find Ronnie’s address for Jack. On hearing of Jack’s fling with Sam, a disgusted Roxy tears up the address. A jealous Ryan is incredulous at Janine’s plan to marry Archie in order to get her hands on the Vic.
