EastEnders - 12/05/2009

Bradley finds Dot’s lost keys in her bag and Dot tells him she is not sleeping. Syd visits Bradley and tells him she has been busy at work. Bradley isn’t impressed so Syd admits that she likes him a lot and she wanted to tell him in person. They kiss and go upstairs. Syd arrives home but has forgotten her keys, the door is answered by a young man. Tanya tells Jane she sent Dr Jenkins a text but has had no reply. Max says to Bradley that he and Tanya are history. Max quizzes Tanya about her night and she says it was brilliant. Tanya suspects Max has warned Dr Jenkins off so calls to arrange another date. They meet in the cafe but Dr Jenkins admits that he doesn’t want to take this further; it’s not Max he just doesn’t think Tanya is ready to date again. Max appears with a new woman. Phil has discharged himself and Peggy is concerned about his whereabouts. Shirley turns down Phil’s advances, tips away his booze and calls Peggy. Phil isn’t happy to see Peggy and doesn’t accept her apology. Shirley gives Ben a leaflet for an alcohol support group and Ben begs Phil to go to a meeting. Peggy tells Phil he needs to sort himself out for Ben’s sake. Jean is struggling to get to grips with the flower stall. Stacey meets a guy called Dermot. Jean is getting the hang of things when Stacey asks her to keep an eye on her stall. Jean is horrified to see all of Stacey’s credit cards and tries to talk to her about it. Ignoring her Stacey leaves with Dermot. Jack romances Ronnie with flowers and a picnic at R&R, he tells Ronnie he wants to start afresh.
