Whitney tells Bianca that she’s in love with Tony. Bianca assumes it’s just a crush but Whitney says they’ve been sleeping together and plan to go abroad. Bianca accuses Whitney of lying, even when Whitney reveals she was 12 when it all started. Bianca confronts Tony, but he denies everything, claiming that Whitney resents Bianca and wanted to run away to find her real Mum. He says Whitney came on to him and he rejected her, so this is her revenge. Whitney waits for Tony, passports at the ready. Bianca begins to doubt Tony and is shocked when she overhears him telling Whitney she must lie or he will go back to prison. An angry Bianca accuses Tony of abusing Whitney, but he continues to blame Whitney. Whitney’s birthday party comes to an abrupt halt and the rest of the family leave. Bianca calls the police. Tony tries to persuade Bianca not to tell anyone, he doesn’t want to go back to prison as a paedophile. She is scared he has also abused Tiffany, but he claims he hasn’t. Tony packs and tells Whitney he doesn’t want her anymore. She begs him not to leave her. Whitney accuses Bianca of turning Tony against her. Bianca tells Whitney that her relationship with Tony was wrong and that he was raping her but Whitney defends him, saying she started it. Tony returns to the house, and Whitney thinks he has come back for her; in fact he is only there to get his passport and plane ticket. The police arrive and arrest Tony. He appeals to Whitney, asking her to tell the police he’s done nothing wrong, but she says nothing. Bianca sends her inside, and stands in the rain tears rolling down her face.
