Danielle’s having nightmares and can’t eat, Stacey thinks she needs to tell Ronnie the truth. Stacey overprotective of Jean, so to get some peace Jean gives Danielle money to take Stacey out. At R& R they see Paul, who tells Danielle he knows she had an abortion. Furious, Danielle threatens to rip Stacey’s head off if she tells Ronnie that Danielle’s her daughter. At R&R Ronnie finds a card receipt for nearly two hundred pounds. When she finds out the card’s Roxy’s she presumes Archie’s paying and asks Jack to find out from one of his police contacts. Ian looks for someone to work on the fruit stall. Lucy tells him she knows the perfect person – him. Later, at the unit, Ian and Zainab argue. Masood and Jane escape and have a meal together at the café. Manda visits Minty, but when she finds him looking after Summer, she presumes Minty’s her father. Manda leaves quickly, claiming she’d only come because there’s something wrong with her car. Later, encouraged by Dawn and Phil, Minty finds Manda. She admits she doesn’t have a car and shows him the valentine he sent her years ago. He tells her Summer’s not his and they agree to have lunch the next day. Billy stakes out his flat to see who’s been breaking in and catches Jay. He worries because Jay’s bunking off school. Billy’s got a new job cleaning the Minute Mart and, after helping Billy at R & R, Jay goes with him to the shop. When Billy’s cleaning, Jay finds a bag of out of date food and Billy tells him to throw it away. Jay takes the food and Billy later catches him selling it.
