Danielle tries to make amends at the Slaters’ but Stacey wants to know when she’s moving out. Danielle tries to get a job at R&R’s but is left devastated when Ronnie suggests she go home to her family. Danielle tells Ronnie to stuff her job and runs out. Ronnie runs after her but Danielle just apologises and walks off. Danielle looks in her bag and pulls out a positive pregnancy test. Dot tells Nick she couldn’t cope with Dotty and Jim when he comes home but changes her mind when it’s time to say goodbye. Dotty is delighted to stay. Nick takes all of Dot’s money and then reveals he would have left Dotty anyway without the money. Nick leaves. Later Dot worries when Dotty suggests lots of fun activities for them to do. Max is devastated when Jack tells him Lauren wants to go in to foster care. He spends the day desperately trying to find somewhere for her to stay. As Lauren is about to leave Max arrives and tells her she can stay with the Beales’. Max pleads with her to stay but Lauren leaves Walford. Jay continues to protest his innocence over Peggy’s credit card but Billy doesn’t believe him. Janine makes it clear Jay is not welcome. Jay tells Billy he has to choose – Janine or him, when Billy hesitates Jay walks out. Jay packs to leave and in anger kicks Janine’s stuffed cat – inside it’s full of cash. Zainab sets up her own book club. Denise ends up drinking too much and Zainab has to walk her home. Denise falls over and is shocked when Lucas appears and offers to help her up.
