Zainab’s convinced that Syed and Amira aren’t really going to move out – until they announce they’ve rented the flat above the sari shop. The flat’s a complete mess but Amira’s determined to live there. To Zainab’s dismay, Amira hires Christian to decorate the flat. Bianca reminds Carol that Billie’s a grown up. Whitney’s still against Billie joining up. Carol takes Billie to the Army Recruitment Office, they’ll ask lots of questions and then if Billie still wants to join up he can. However, Carol controls the conversation and when the Recruitment Sergeant asks if Billie would be prepared to shoot someone, Carol’s outraged - she wants Billie to learn a trade in the Army, not fight. Annoyed, Billie walks out. There are two job vacancies at the Bookies. With Janine pretending to be his referee, Ryan soon secures himself the Deputy Manager role, then gets Janine the other job. Ryan’s adamant they’re not going to steal from the Bookies, but Janine thinks he’ll soon change his mind. Roxy and Ronnie individually tell Danny they miss each other, he sympathises with both sisters and promises to try and sort things out. But rather than passing on Ronnie and Roxy’s real messages, Danny tells them both the other one doesn’t want to know. Roxy’s having trouble keeping up with her bills, so Danny sets up internet banking for her, ensuring that he knows her log in details and password. Pleased, he phones someone and tells them ‘we’re on’.
