Jack claims his kiss with Roxy wasn’t what it looked like. The christening continues but Ronnie soon runs out in tears. Jack wants to follow but stays when Roxy tells him he’d be walking out of his daughter’s life. Dot takes over from Ronnie as Godmother. Ronnie destroys the buffet and decorations at the Vic. After the christening, Jack decides to find Ronnie and Roxy accuses him of using her. Ronnie finds a bottle of pills, Phil thinks it’s a cry for help. He admits he understands, he’s always wondered if Ben’s actually Grant’s child. Ronnie leaves. Jack arrives and sees the pills, Phil tells him Ronnie’s gone to the airport, but won’t say which one. Amira arrives at the Masoods’. She’s obviously rich and spoilt, and it soon becomes clear Syed hasn’t told her he’s lost his job. Syed begs Masood not to tell Amira in front of the family. Masood agrees but Tamwar’s unhappy that his parents are lying for Syed. Eventually Tamwar tells Amira Syed’s broke, she accuses Syed of using her. Amira insults the whole family and Masood asks her to leave. Masood asks Syed to move home. Heather looks after Summer, it goes badly and Heather worries she doesn’t have a maternal bone in her body. Dawn tells her she was just as clueless when Summer was first born; it’s all a case of trial and error. Nick tells Billy he wants £100 by the end of the day or he’ll tell Jay everything. Tanya tries and fails to ask out Dr Al Jenkins, he then overhears her practising chat up lines with Jane. Jane tells Al to put Tanya out of her misery and reassures him Tanya’s separated. Eventually Al asks Tanya to go for a drink in the Vic with him.
