Vinnie and Shirley prepare to leave but he has other things on his mind as he produces Phil’s watch. Heather can’t believe that Shirley’s giving up on Phil. Shirley is unwavering; Phil’s not interested and its time she moved on. Vinnie asks Callum to return Phil’s watch to him. As Shirley and Vinnie leave, he forces her to realise she’s settling for second best with him and she still has a chance with Phil. Callum gives Phil the watch Vinnie found in Shirley’s bedroom, leaving Suzy horrified. Tanya meets her solicitor and learns that Max is convinced she’s covering for Jack. Max arrives at the prison and tries to get the truth from Tanya about Jack. Tanya tells him that it was her who tried to kill him and she’ll do it again. Tanya makes a call which identifies Max’s attacker as Lauren. Jack receives a letter informing him that Selena’s getting married and Penny will have a new dad. Ronnie consoles him. Jack visits Tanya and reassures her that he’ll remain loyal but Tanya tells him it’s over. After Whitney causes a scene in the café, Tony placates her by saying they’ll book the tickets to Spain. Whitney goes to hunt for her passport through Bianca’s drawers and is caught by Bianca. She lies about needing it for a school trip, but it can’t be found. Tony has the passport and throws it in the bin. Ian’s reluctant to join in the commercialisation of Christmas. In a plan to save money on promotional leaflets, he organises a party for Bobby’s friends for them to help colouring them in. Jane is horrified to discover Ian’s child poster-making sweat shop. Roxy and Sean keep vigil over Amy in hospital. Sean opens up about his childhood and his fears of Amy inheriting Jean’s mental illness.
