Comedy drama about six very different people who travel to a prestigious karaoke contest in Nebraska in search of prizes and fame. Among the hopefuls is a struggling professional singer who meets her estranged small-time hustler father at her mother's funeral, only to find that they are about to compete on the same karaoke circuit.
