Drop Zone - Turkey

The five remaining teams race through the complex maze that is the streets of Istanbul, the fifth largest city in the world. Presenter Steve Jones briefs the teams on the upcoming challenges that will test both their mental and physical abilities in the toughest Drop Zone yet. The challenges are getting harder by the day, and everyone is under pressure not to be the last team to find the chopper, as that team will be left behind. The soaring temperatures and the complicated streets of Istanbul provide the teams with the toughest challenge so far. As the day begins, the teams must find a key in a mountain of Turkish delight - without using their hands. The teams have to locate three separate locations throughout the winding streets and baking heat of Istanbul. The trek leads them along the Golden Horn River, to the Galata Tower and stunning Topkapi Palace. Each location gives them clues to the shopping task at their final destination, the Grande Bazaar. However, nothing could prepare them for the final task in a traditional Hamam, where they get up close and personal with some fine Turkish men. The clues are written on their bodies, which are covered in mud - the teams must get scrubbing. The Luvvies' relentless approach has got them far, but will they play up their drama skills in bargaining Bazaar prices? Will the Turkish Mud bath be a step too far for The Geeks? Of the five teams, only four will be able to go on to the semi-final of Drop Zone.
