Update on the 1980s series about a group of doctors just starting out on their careers. Over the past two decades Jane Gilbert has learned a lot, but also paid a heavy price. The hours required to make it to the top of hospital medicine were too much, and she chose general practice, where she hoped to combine demanding work with raising a family.
