Desmond Carrington: The Music Goes Round - 13/08/2010

Culled from a record collection of 250,000 titles, Desmond plays a broad mixture of all that is good about music-making in the 20th century (and a little from the 21st). Each week Desmond rummages through the 78's, LPs, EPs, singles, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, tapes, DATs and minidiscs to come up with some good tunes, some unexpected ones and a few you may have never heard before. This week, the second half of the programme will focus entirely on music from the 1950s.
