Dermot has a Saturday Session from American duo The Pierces. Plus he chats to Leigh Francis, the man behind Bo' Selecta! and Keith Lemon. The Pierces are the singer-songwriting sisters Catherine and Allison, who were born in Alabama and raised by hippie parents on a musical diet of Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Al Green, and Joni Mitchell. The pair moved to New York City, where they spent ten years "almost getting somewhere", before the use of tracks from their third album on US television programmes, including Gossip Girl, helped raise their profile. With a new record label, and a co-producer in Coldplay's Guy Berryman, the sisters have a new single and are set to release their fourth album.
