Dermot has Julian Plenti in session, aka Interpol singer Paul Banks, who's been playing solo sets under this pseudonym for a while and has now released his debut solo album. There's also music from Lightning Seeds, who've reformed for a summer tour. Lightning Seeds is the brainchild of the Scouse producer and guitarist Ian Broudie, who started his music career in the punk outfit Big In Japan and has collaborated with a diverse mix of artists including Icicle Works, Terry Hall, Alison Moyet and The Zutons. Dermot also speaks to the comedian, and one-time Broudie collaborator, Frank Skinner.
