Dear Frankie

Drama. A woman writes a series of letters to her deaf nine-year-old son and pretends they are from his absent father, to protect the boy from the fact she fled her violent ex-husband. When the boy becomes convinced his father is finally returning, the woman is forced to take drastic steps to maintain the charade.
