Dave Pearce presents 30 years of classic dance anthems from electro to techno via hardcore and house alongside future big room club tunes. This week Dave is joined by DJ Pete Wardman to look back at two decades of the infamous Trade club night. The first ever legal all night party in the UK, Trade started at Turnmills in London in 1990, before spreading out to Bristol, Cardiff, Ibiza and beyond. The club became famous for DJs like Tall Paul playing cutting edge underground dance music, and hosting some of the most hedonistic parties the UK club scene ever saw. It was also famous for its door policy "You don't have to be gay or a member to get in, but your attitude and look will count", and played an important role in gay nightlife throughout the 1990s. Pete Wardman - one of Trade's residents - joins Dave to share his memories of the club and picks five seminal tunes from its history. In the last 30 minutes there's an archive mix from one of Trade's most famous residents - Tony De Vit - recorded for BBC Radio 1 in 1995.
