Live from Nashville, country music fan Dale Winton celebrates the biggest night in the Country music calendar - the CMA awards. In a special two hour programme, Dale introduces highlights from the 44th Annual Country Music Association Awards, held in Nashville on Wednesday evening, including the best performances from the night, and backstage interviews with this year's winners. During his visit to Nashville he also catches up with some of Country music's biggest stars, past and present including Brad Paisley, veteran country star Lorrie Morgan and newcomer Chris Young The nominations for this year's CMA awards are led by singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert, who is nominated for nine awards, a record for a female artist. Lady Antebellum garnered the second highest number of nominations with five including Entertainer, Album, Vocal Group, Single for "Need You Now" and Music Video. Other leading nominees include the Zac Brown Band, Blake Shelton and Dierks Bentley, whose nominated album 'Up on the Ridge' brings bluegrass back into mainstream country. Dierks will be performing live during the awards show alongside an array of country stars including Sugarland, George Strait, Keith Urban, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum and Kenny Chesney. The evening is hosted by country superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
