Jill Douglas presents highlights of road cycling's World Championships. The men's road race saw the field compete over a 262.7km course from Melbourne to Geelong. Great Britain's team is only three strong, so David Millar and Jeremy Hunt will have their work cut out to assist Mark Cavendish in his bid for glory. The 15-time Tour de France stage winner is aiming to become only the second Briton, after Tommy Simpson in 1965, to win the event. Cadel Evans was 2009's winner and the Australian will be cheered on by a partisan crowd.
