Courtney Pine's Jazz Crusade

Leading British saxophonist Courtney Pine returns to Radio 2 for another series of the Jazz Crusade, which features the very best of contemporary jazz and interviews with upcoming and established artists from the world of jazz. 5/6. There's music from bassist Stanley Clarke, tenor saxophonist Jimmy Greene, Cuban trumpeter Arturo Sandoval and an old school track from Norah Jones. Courtney's special guest is London-born guitarist Cameron Pierre. In Jazz Crusade Unsigned, which features the best of the UK's unsigned jazz artists, Courtney plays a track from jazz vocalist Andi Hopgood. Also, Irish singer songwriter Christine Tobin exclusively performs a new song from her forthcoming album.
