Ellie Harrsion goes on a journey across the North Yorkshire Moors. Starting on the coast at Whitby, Ellie re-traces the steps made by the eponymous villain of Bram Stoker's gothic masterpiece Dracula. Travelling inland, Ellie discovers the pressures on the rare freshwater mussels of the River Esk, and how bloodsucking ticks threaten the health of the valuable grouse population. Finally Ellie visits York and learns the real story of the notorious outlaw Dick Turpin.
