Fryderyk Chopin (1810-1849), Episode 5
Donald Macleod concludes his exploration of Chopin's extraordinarily creative final years in Nohant. As his relationship with Sand finally disintegrates, Chopin produces his three final masterpieces: the ultra-modern Polonaise-Fantaisie, the underrated Cello Sonata, and perhaps his most influential work, the Barcarolle.
