Hazel Irvine introduces highlights of the women's cycling road race, plus live coverage of the men's road race as Commonwealth Games coverage continues from Delhi. The men's race takes place over a 167km course, taking in some of Delhi's famous landmarks such as India Gate. Mark Cavendish from the Isle of Man and Welsh rider Geraint Thomas both made waves in this year's Tour de France and will be looking to cap excellent seasons by capturing the Commonwealth title. Also riding will be Scotland's David Millar along with the defending champion Mathew Hayman of Australia. There are also highlights of the women's event in which Olympic road race champion Nicole Cooke was attempting to win the Commonwealth title - no easy task in an event which favours riders who can call on the support of team-mates to help them plot their way through the race. Welsh star Cooke took bronze in Melbourne four years ago when Natalie Bates, backed by a strong Australian team, claimed gold. England also had high hopes of success in Delhi, with the likes of Emma Pooley, Lizzie Armitstead and Sharon Laws in their team. Hazel also presents the conclusion of the archery competition - the individual recurve finals, boxing quarter-final action and England's men against South Africa in the hockey.
