Women's hockey: India v Scotland Hosts India await Scotland in their opening match in pool A, a real test for the Scots in front of thousands of fanatical Indian supporters. Scotland's women came a creditable fifth at the 2006 Commonwealth Games but they could not have asked for a much tougher start, facing a side ten places above them in the world rankings. Netball: England v Barbados England's netballers begin their Commonwealth campaign against Barbados. England won bronze in Melbourne 2006, and a good start in Delhi will give them valuable momentum in their quest to challenge Australia and New Zealand, the two big guns of the sport. Gymnastics: men's artistic team final The home nations go for gold in the men's team competition, with four gymnasts competing for each country.
