Drama set in the near future about an investigator who risks his professional career and his marriage when he finds himself irresistibly drawn to a crime's prime suspect. While investigating the creation of fraudulent papelles - a form of insurance cover, passport and visa rolled into one - at the Sphinx insurance company in Shanghai, a husband and father falls into a dangerous relationship from which he cannot escape.
