In Grimsby, he discovers how the once busy fishing port now makes a living from fish processing, and sees what is next for the famous fish finger. Historian Neil Oliver looks at two very different seaside resorts, genteel Scarborough and the first Butlins holiday camp in Skegness. Alice Roberts visits Ravenscar, the site of Britain's first chemical industry, and recreates alum crystals using stale urine, while archaeologist Mark Horton takes to the Humber in a replica of Europe's oldest boat, twice as old as the pyramids.
