Three Welsh families give up their 21st century creature comforts and time travel back to 1944 to face the hardships of life in World War II. As the pressure rises for the workers to meet their targets for the war effort, preparations get underway for the community dance. Will the Griffithses, Paiseys and Tranter Davieses win or lose their personal battles as they prepare for their return to 2008?
