Classical Star - Episode 1

Classical talent show where musicians compete to win a top recording contract and launch a musical career. In the first programme, 18 candidates battle for nine places at Musical Director Matthew Barley's Academy over two intensive days in London. It's a nerve-wracking journey as the young players are asked to improvise, complete demanding interviews and perform to the best of their ability under the scrutiny of the judges, who include conductor Charles Hazlewood and music mogul Steve Abbott.
