Welcome to the Hawkathon! The live hour at 4 is kicked off by Baker Gurvitz Army, a must for any Ginger Baker fan! Former The Gun and Three Man Army members, Paul Gurvitz and Adrian Gurvitz joined forces with ex-Cream drummer Ginger Baker in 1974. Their first album was released the same year and featured a dynamic mixture of heavy rock propelled by Baker's irrepressible drumming. However, the band was short-lived due to a lack of success in America and personality clashes between the members, which led them to retreat back to their solo careers. There's also another chance to hear sessions from Alexis Corner in 1965, and Nottingham-based band Six By Seven in 2004.
