It's BBC 6 Music's 8th birthday and The Hawk's 2000th show! Chris Hawkins presents documentaries, concerts and sessions from the BBC archives. Underworld kick off the Live Hour at 4, with a concert from Alexandra Palace in 1998. Plus sessions come courtesy of Electralane in 2004, and Leeds outfit Delta 5 in 1980. The Music and Movement subject for the morning is 'songs to open your birthday cards to'; and there's also the usual great tunes, daft chat...and Nana Hawk, who makes an appearance to Play Your Birthday Cards Right.
