Laura Dockrill is a poet and illustrator from South London. A graduate of The Brit School of Performing Arts, Laura was named one of the top ten literary stars of 2008 by The Times. Her sassy and unique way with words has captivated audiences at gigs and festivals everywhere, including Glastonbury, Latitude and Reading, and she has supported Martha Wainwright, Adele and Kate Nash. Laura also illustrates all things Kate Nash - albums, singles, t-shirts - and has provided the illustrations for many other products and promotions, from chocolate wrappers to condom tins. Laura is involved in BBC Schools campaign Off By Heart, which aims to encourage children to engage with learning and reciting poetry. She runs poetry workshops at schools and libraries around the country.
