Bruce MacGregor presents recent highlights from the Highland Café, along with the best bits of last year's series. There's sessions from Dougie Maclean, Seth Lakeman, Esther O'Connor and more, as well as music from some fantastic young musicians hailing from the Highlands. While you're in the Café, you'll also hear fascinating features on everything from The Beatles' adventures in Strathpeffer, to the annual Guga hunt off the coast of Lewis. In 'Highland Hip', Sally Magnusson speaks to Julie Fowlis about taking Gaelic song right around the world; and you'll also hear Julie sing live, as she guests in an edition of Take The Floor first broadcast live from the Celtic Connections festival, with music from Alasdair MacCuish and the Black Rose Ceilidh Band.
