Series looking at the value of household junk. Helen Bulbeck and her husband have four grown-up children who have flown the nest. They were just re-adjusting to a quieter life when they received the shocking news that their daughter Meg had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. After surgery in America, Meg has made a full recovery. The Bulbecks have set up a charity to raise money to bring US technology to Britain, and hope to sell off some unwanted goods to get the ball rolling.
