Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show - 14/12/2007

Bruce lays waste to the nation's airwaves, playing the latest, greatest hard rock, emo, metal and extreme music. Plus he's joined by metalcore five-piece Atreyu. Having sold over a million albums, Atreyu play a combination of 1980s metal, thrash, industrial hardcore and even alternative country. Coming out of Southern California during the rap metal explosion of the late 1990s, the guys differed from their counterparts by creating a warped detuned sound, matched by pounding drums and acidic vocals. Originally called Retribution, they changed their name to Atreyu after a character in film The Neverending Story. 2007 has been a successful year for the group. They have just completed a series of European dates and released their fifth album Lead Sails Paper Anchor, which has received chart success both in the UK and US.
