They are one of the hottest acts in Country music, and CMA Duo of the Year for the last two years. Joining Bob in session tonight are Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland. The two singer-songwriters from Atlanta Georgia formed Sugarland in 2002 with fellow musician Kristen Hall. They released two albums before Kristen left and have since honed the band into the Country Duo of the moment. Not only are they reigning CMA Duo of the Year, but Jennifer Nettles picked up Song of the Year at the 2008 awards for her heart-wrenching ballad 'Stay'. At the same awards they were also nominated for their live version of Dream Academy's 'Life in a Northern Town'. They've had four number 1 Country singles and in 2005 Jennifer and Jon Bon Jovi topped the Country charts with their duet 'Who Says you Can't Go Home. Tonight they perform two live acoustic songs from their current album 'Love on the Inside', and talk to Bob about their influences, their songwriting and their thoughts on Country music's mass appeal.
