Bob Harris Country

Bob is joined tonight by one of the leading live bands in Austin, Texas - The Band of Heathens. The band formed in 2006 when its three principle songwriters started performing together at a weekly gig at Austin club Momos. Largely improvised and unrehearsed, the shows quickly gained in popularity and The Band of Heathens was born. After releasing a Live From Momos album, they were named 'best new band' at the Austin Music Awards, and followed this up with a tour of the USA and a second live album. Their debut studio album was released last year and they play live songs from it on tonight's show.
