Bill McLaren: The Voice

To mark the passing of one of British broadcasting's greatest commentators, there is another chance to see the 2002 documentary celebrating Bill's career behind the microphone. The Princess Royal joins some of the greats of world rugby, including Andy Irvine, Gareth Edwards, Mike Gibson and Sean Fitzpatrick to pay tribute to the man who, for many, was simply "the voice of rugby". Bill's personal memories of early days in Hawick and his wartime experiences at Monte Cassino are featured, while classic match footage from the last 50 years help illustrate just why Bill McLaren was held in such high regard.
