Soap actress Joyce Falconer attempts to grasp the obscure art of bothy ballad singing and perform in front of 700 people at the biggest event of the year, The Bothy Ballad Champion of Champions competition in Elgin. She is taught this staunch discipline by bothy singing legend Joe Aitken. Using her unique brand of entertainment she plans to stir things up a little and drag bothy ballads into the 21st century.
