Lesley meantime clings on to the season and extols the virtues of autumn planting and revels in autumn colours. Carole visits Starthburn House at Gairloch who have a project called "Tarry awhile" to help them transform their site into a positive garden of remembrance and to encourage everyone to do just that - to tarry awhile. Carole helps to create an environmentally friendly and wildlife attractive garden. Carole takes her final trip to see Sue and Jim Watson at Muir of Fowlis on the not so "numpty" corner anymore. Carole helps Sue to put her greenhouse to bed for the winter while keeping it productive. Jim and Carole also re-visit the community garden at Fairlie. They first visited the project two months ago and at that stage the garden was very new and is an extension of thei community compost and wormery schemes. Jim and Carole catch up with the community to find out how this season has been for them and what more ambitious plans they have for next year.
